Shannon Purser – who became massive hit playing much loved Barb on Stranger Things – used Twitter this week to get candid about her sexuality and her personal journey to authenticity.
The 19 year-old actress, revealed the struggle she is still going through in reconciling her faith and sexuality.
Purser, who now plays Ethel Muggs on another Netflix’s Riverdale also dispensed advice to fans who might be going through a similar journey.
She wrote that it can be “really scary” but encouraged her followers to “take it slow.
