Sagittarius 11/22 – 12/21
The time has come to put your trust in Venus. The priestess of love is strong in the house of Sagittarius this month and you should have faith in her power. If you’re single this really could be a momentous time for you. December has ‘soul mate’ written all over it and Venus is in a good mood. However, the gifts from Venus won’t just land at your door. You have to go out and get them. And this is where the trust bit comes in. Open your heart this month and believe in the power of love, and great things can happen. At work, you should use the power of love to rise above petty squabbles and in house back biting. Spread good feelings and positive vibes and they will come back to you ten-fold.
Capricorn 12/22 – 1/19
In an unusual turn of events, Mars looks like being the major positive influence on Capricorn this month. Negativity in December will come from The Moon, and you could be seeing something of a stand-off between the two. This could result in some confusion for you and those around you. The main area of your life set to be affected by this is your work. You might be asked to perform tasks you have no experience of or to enter into parts of the business you know little about. Do ask questions. Don’t be afraid to admit that you don’t know something, this will only result in more confusion and more problems. In your personal life the issue is going to be one of hesitation. The general air of confusion this month will cause you to doubt yourself, those around you, and the situation. Talk to your girl about any worriers you have. She’ll understand and all will be much clearer.
Aquarius 1/20 – 2/18
Like many of the star signs this month, Mercury is not your friend. Mercury’s run of anger and negativity throughout the solar system won’t leave Aquarius unscathed. The good news is, Saturn and Mars are on your side and fighting your corner hard. At work you could be facing a frustrating few weeks. You’ll put your all in and get very little back. You might even feel as if you’ve worked hard on something for nothing. You might be right. The important thing to remember is, it could have been much worse. Mercury is spoiling for a fight through December and you’ll come off relatively lightly. In your personal life, put any big plans or major events on the back burner. It might seem like a great idea to organise a big Christmas party or an ambitious family Christmas, but the truth is, this would be very stressful for you. Relax instead and spend time at home with your partner.
Pisces 2/19 – 3/20
The negative position of Mercury throughout the whole of the star signs will have a contradictory effect on Pisces. Mercury is always on the negative side of Pisces, but with such a bad vibe around it this month and the other stars fighting hard to overcome it, the situation looks very mixed indeed. You won’t know who to trust this month, so the best advice is to trust no one. At work you’ll need to deal carefully in a measured way with problems and issues. You’ll feel provoked at times, but remember there’s always someone on your side, and who that is will become clear this month. Your personal life could be disastrous if you’re not careful. You need to know exactly what you want from the situation you’re in. If you choose to go down with the ship your friends and family will be there to pick you up again. If you decide this is worth saving, your efforts to patch up the boat won’t go un-noticed. Either way, you’ll emerge with clarity and a whole new perspective.
Aries 3/21 – 4/19
The Sun, usually on Aries’ side, and Venus, usually not so much, have switched positions this month. Although this might sound like a confusing time is ahead in December, the situation will actually open up opportunities that aren’t often available to you. Grab them with both hands while you can! At work this means a new position, a new contract, or just success in a project you’d previously seen as difficult. The situation won’t relieve you of the need to work hard though. This isn’t a free ride, just the opening of previously closed doors. At home this means peace and harmony…as long as you put in the effort and return affections where they’re given to you. This is a great time to think big and plan your future.
Taurus 4/20 – 5/20
Venus is fighting your corner this month, with The Moon and Saturn in opposition. It might not sound like a fair fight, but the Priestess of Love is strong and more than capable of holding her ground. The main problem for Taurus this month is that you can’t be sure what is being sent to you by well-meaning Venus, and what comes your way from Saturn and The Moon. You need to be careful. If a work opportunity or project seems too good to be true, it might just be. Check everything out and make sure you can trust in people before you take on anything big. In your personal relationships you need to be wary too. It could be that a friend is deceitful, a lover, or that a new person entering your life doesn’t have your best interests at heart. Be especially vigilant on the 26th December, when the new moon can make it easier for bad vibes to reach you.
Gemini 5/21 – 6/21
The position of Saturn in the house of Gemini will be strong in December. As a firm ally of Gemini, this is good news. However, Mercury and Jupiter are joining forces on the opposite side and working to block Saturn’s power. It’s a showdown, and could well cause some difficulties for you this month. Although things look dicey, you can still harness the positive energy from Saturn and makes situations work in your favour. All you need to remember is, you can still get what you want but it’s going to take more effort and hard work than usual. This is especially true in your work life and at times you’ll feel like it’s a slog. But take your foot off the accelerator and things could go badly wrong. Your personal life looks to be calmer. The position of the planets means Venus has no influence this month, so you shouldn’t expect any major events either good or bad.
Cancer 6/22 – 7/22
What would at first glance seem like a very positive set of circumstances for Cancer – Saturn, Jupiter, The Moon, and Mars are all lining up on your side – could in fact mean a very quiet and uneventful month. For some reason, although many planets are sending positive energy your way in December, it doesn’t appear to have any effect. The reason for this seems to be that everything in your life will go as planned, so no surprises, either good or bad. While on the face of it this might appear quite bland, actually you are getting what you want, just not in a dynamic way! You’ll be happy and enjoy a peaceful Christmas with friends and family. Work will run smoothly and apart from a small issue around December 10th, will be without any problems. December looks like being the time for Cancer to kick back and enjoy the peace, and save any major plans for the new year.
Leo 7/23 – 8/22
December has a star in each corner for Leo. On the one side is mean Mercury, doing its best to mess things up, while on the other is Uranus, all sweetness and light. Fortunately the two stars have picked their camps and it won’t be difficult for you to work out in what areas of your life you need to watch yourself. Mercury is casting its negativity on your work life while Uranus is pouring its positivity on your personal relationships. At work, Mercury is very much the fly in your sugar bowl and you’ll need a lot of patience and determination to overcome problems and get results. The good news is, when you go home after your hard day, your girl will be supportive and your home will be a happy one.
Virgo 8/23 – 9/22
There aren’t many star signs escaping the wrath of Mercury in December, and Virgo is as much in the firing line as anyone this month. As with everyone else, Mercury is particularly interesting in your work life. The most damage can be done to those who are in lower positions. If you’re self-employed or work in management Mercury’s influence will be minimal. But if you’re an employee without much standing, it’s time to watch your back. It could be a good time to weigh up your options and be prepared to make some changes. Venus is mainly in charge in your home life and things should be running smoothly. Just one word of warning, this is a bad time for dishonesty. Be a trustworthy friend, family member, and partner and your relationships will stay solid.
Libra 9/23 – 10/22
The position of Saturn is strong in the house of Libra this month, and to strengthen your positivity even more, Mars is switching from bad cop to good cop. The only star with negativity pointing your way in December is The Sun, but even that will be mostly blocked by Venus. The main area The Sun seems to be playing with is in your self-belief. You may find it hard to believe in yourself this month especially, but self-doubt is the chink in your armour The Sun wants to use. Don’t let it happen. Stay positive and ask yourself if you’re happy with your life. Are you where you want to be in your career and are you happy at home? If you answer ‘no’ to either of these then perhaps The Sun has inadvertently done you a favour. There’s no better time to make changes than in the start of a new year.
Scorpio 10/23 – 11/21
With Saturn on your side and Mars working against you this month, Scorpio is all set for a rollercoaster of emotions. Mars is characterised by its violent temper in the house of Scorpio, while Saturn is a calming a supporting influence. With the two going head to head in December, you could find it hard to keep hold of your feelings. There’s every chance that your work life could be successful and fruitful this month, but you must keep a cool head. It’s going to be hard, but if you let your emotions rise in difficult circumstances you could blow the whole thing. There’s going to be some testing times and you’ll feel like lashing out, but do this at your peril. The same goes for your personal relationships. There’s no reason why you can’t enjoy a harmonious time this month, but you have to keep your feelings under control. Try to put your loved ones first and take a few breaths before you do something you’ll regret.
