Are you interested in dating a woman who seems like she’s got her stuff together better than you do? These women are inspirations to many, but the truth is that most people shy away from asking them out. They seem intimidating to onlookers, and it’s often assumed that they’re stuck up.

The truth is, they’re not very different from the rest of us – they just know how to take charge of their life! So, what do you need to know to make sure your relationship is a success?

1. They know what they want.

So if they’re with you, it’s because they want to be with you. There’s no sugarcoating here. Alpha women won’t stay with someone who isn’t worthy of their time, so if we stick it out with you, it’s because we think you’re good for us. (Sorry if we don’t show it as much as we should!)

2. Most people assume they’re unapproachable.

This means that they’re less likely to get asked out – and more likely to consider a good offer. The assumption is that, since they’re so sure of themselves, they demand someone else who is, too. But the truth is that a little bit of confidence can actually go a long way – so step up and make a move!

3. They don’t have unrealistic expectations.

If an alpha woman thinks you’re going somewhere in life, it’s because she knows you have the potential to do so. If you’re lazy, it’ll probably come across as unrealistic – but truthfully, she probably knows what you’re capable of if you put your mind to it.

4. They’ll help you be a better person.

Alpha women do have high expectations, though. But they’ll help you to meet those expectations. She’s probably got a ton of advice for you to help you reach your goals, and she might even help you discover some new goals. As long as you’re willing to put in the work, she’s willing to help you.

5. They don’t need you, they want you.

While it’s a romantic thought to think of someone needing you for stuff, alpha women don’t need anyone. You know she’s not after your money, because she has her own. She’s not using you for your car or your house or your love – she can handle that on her own. While many women are independent, alpha women live for their independence.

6. They understand the hustle.

Alpha women not only get your hustle, they respect it – completely. She won’t fight for your attention over work or school, because she knows how important those things are. Instead, she’ll let you have your own space, and she’ll use that time productively for herself.

7. They won’t push you for anything you don’t want to do.

They will understand and respect your choices, and they will admire you for standing up for them. There’s this misconception that alpha women crave being appeased – but the truth is, they just want to know that you know what you’re doing. As long as you can present your points with confidence and intelligence, she’s likely to understand where you’re coming from and let you do you.

8. They expect it to be a partnership.

This means that they want you to put in effort – but they’re not expecting you to act alone. They know that relationships are most successful when both partners are working together toward similar goals. If your goals don’t align (and you won’t change your goals), things probably aren’t going to work out – but this is a good thing. If you’re dating an alpha woman and things don’t work out, it’s usually because you stopped trying – she won’t.
