When Katy Perry dropped Swish Swish, her surprise single with Nicki Minaj, people immediately started speculating that it was about Taylor Swift.

What was a little more surprising was the fact that Ruby Rose, a known member of Taylor’s squad, openly called Katy out on Twitter after hearing the song (which has no *direct* references to Taylor).

However, it would appear has had a change of heart. Over the weekend , the model/actress/squad member took to Twitter to say she felt bad about the tweets.

“Being mean doesn’t suit me and leaves me feeling dirty,” she wrote.

She also shared that she instinctively steps in when she thinks bullying is happening, because of her own history of being bullied.

She stopped short of directly apologizing, but explained that her tweets were a reaction to dealing with bullies herself and a desire to stick up for the “underdogs.”

For her part, Perry says the song wasn’t inspired by any one person, in particular. On a The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon appearance, she said it isn’t a diss track, but rather an anti-bullying anthem.

Call the Midwife has some bad news

The show’s lesbian characters, Patsy and Delia, will no longer appear on the new season, but BBC bosses stressed none of the characters would be killed off, leaving the door open for their possible return for the lovers to return. (The Mirror)

Emerald Fennell, who plays midwife Patsy Mount is leaving to play Lady Ada Lovelace in period drama Victoria; Kate Lamb who plays her lover Delia Busby is leaving too.

In 2015 it was revealed Patsy was in a relationship with Delia. The pair’s secret love proved a hit with viewers, as it showed how tough it was being gay in the 1960s.

In the finale of the latest series they were shown for the first time sharing a kiss.
