In an interview with Richard Wilkins, the Orange Is The New Black actress says her romance with Jess came out of the blue.
I didn’t plan that, obviously. The last thing you want to do when you do a promotional tour on a film and you’ve come all the way out [to Australia] to do it is release a new relationship, so to speak, and a video. It just happened by accident but I’m very lucky.”
Rose sparked reunion rumours when she posted pictures of herself with Jess on Instagram in August, the same time the actress reportedly split from then girlfriend Harley Gusman.
Origliasso confirmed the news during a radio interview earlier this month when she told Nova FM’s Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small they had been friends for eight years and “sort of fell in love” over the making of the music video.
Last week, The Veronicas released the clip for On Your Side, which was written and directed by Rose.
This video was responsible for reigniting the flame between the exes, and shows the pair getting up close and personal, looking at a “love that cannot be broken” despite one of the girls’ characters battling a drug addiction.
