R’n’B pop princess and now reality star, Christina Milian, has opened up about hooking-up with women.

The confession comes in an upcoming episode of the podcast Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss that she had ‘hooked up with a girl’, according to TMZ.

The first…well, the first time, listen to me! … You gotta be a hot girl and you gotta be cool. It literally was out of fun and you’re attracted to the person in the moment. Nothing’s going to go past that. In the moment!”

Christiana-Milian

Christina is newly single after calling it quits with her boyfriend of one year Lil Wayne late last year.

Actress Chloë Grace Moretz On Sexuality: It’s A “Question That Shouldn’t Be Asked”

Talking to the Huffington post whilst promoting her latest film, The Fifth Wave, actress Chloë Grace Moretz opened up about subject of family and LGBT equality.

I feel like we put so many labels on so many things in our society. And my big issue is not just the fact that people are against LGBT [but] it’s the fact that we’d have to come out and say who we’re interested in. There should never even be a question…It doesn’t matter! It’s not an issue! Why are we even living in a society where we have to answer those questions? That’s a question that shouldn’t be asked!”

She also explained how the treatment of LGBT people has confused her from a young age.

Definitely in the beginning it was a confusion on my part as to why anyone even cared. That was kind of my big thing as a kid, i was kind of like, ‘well why do they even care who they find is cute. The way my family has always been is no matter what it is, whether you’re gay, you don’t like a sport, whatever it is, we stick up for one another. So I immediately started filling that role from a really young age because I was on a platform to where people would listen to me and they would hear what I was saying.

Chloë Grace Moretz

She added

So I could defend them on an even larger scale, by promoting it in magazines and interviews and speaking about it on social media and just trying to promote equality.”

This is not the first time the actress has talked about her relationship with her two gay brothers and her strong pro LGBT beliefs.

Jennifer Lawrence Takes Timeout To Explain Her “Slutty Power Lesbian” Style

Known for her refreshing honesty, A-Lister Jennifer Lawrence has once again managed to shock and impress in equal measure during a recent interview about her personal style.

When she was asked to describe how she likes to dress during a recent cover shoot for Glamour magazine, she did not disappoint.

‘Slutty power lesbian.’ That is literally what I say to a stylist.”

Jennifer-Lawrence-02

She continued

I don’t know if that’s offensive…. You don’t see me as a slutty power lesbian on the red carpet a lot, because I’m embodying the Dior woman, which is an honor.… But [also] I’ve got tits and an ass. And there are things that are made for skinny people—like a lot of embroidery, or it covers a lot—and those make me look fat. I have to show the lumps. If you have boobs, you have to show, like, ‘These are boobs. This isn’t cellulite.’ [Laughs.] Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”

Jennifer-Lawrence-03

She went on to explain that although she often dons luxury Dior dresses when on the red carpet, her own style is a little different.

Well, first of all, Dior is its own house that’s very feminine and beautiful; this past press tour every dress was just phenomenal. So you don’t see me as a slutty power lesbian on the red carpet a lot, because I’m embodying the Dior woman, which is an honour.”

Jennifer-Lawrence-01

However, the ‘X-Men’ star said that certain designer labels do not flatter her “fuller” figure.

I’ve got tits and an ass. And there are things that are made for skinny people – like a lot of embroidery, or it covers a lot – and those make me look fat. I have to show the lumps. If you have boobs, you have to show, like, ‘These are boobs. This isn’t cellulite.’ Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”

Well we’re not quite sure what the size of your boobs and butt have to do with all this, J. Law, but we’re definitely on board with the “slutty power lesbian” concept!

Watch Margaret Cho Grills Raven-Symoné On The View: ‘Why Don’t You Have Girlfriend?’

Margaret Cho was back on the view this week, and she didn’t fail to deliver.

In the Hot Topic segment, Cho was asked about president Obama covering Out Magazine this week.

But Raven-Symoné was quick to highlight she too, was in the issue as well.

This was acknowledge by Cho, but she was quick to ask Symoné about her relationship status. Watch below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIaUp29_xmA

Cho has been making ripples lately with her new song about rape – I Want to Kill My Rapist.

In the video, Cho and a band of 20 young girls, all armed, chase after a rapist to exact their revenge.

I’ve had it with rape. I don’t want the younger generation to grow up with it. I want to be really proactive – and aggressively angry – about the way women’s bodies have been used as public space since the beginning of time.”

A survivor of abuse, Cho had her shoulder-length dark hair shaved off for the video.

Margaret Cho

Cho is famed for her boldness, her taboo-breaking political humour.

The comedian is currently touring the globe with her stand-up show psyCHO, she also grabbed headlines earlier this year for appearing at the Golden Globe awards dressed as a North Korean dictator.

Although Cho (whose previous musical effort, Cho Dependent, was nominated for a comedy album Grammy) is performing the new song and a few others as part of the show, she insists her goal is not just to shock and amuse.

She says she wants to make beautiful music, too, in the form of songs that resonate with the politics of the time.

Another, called Fat Pussy, is all about being positive about your body, and is only mildly less shocking.

“Nothin’ better, nothin’ wetter,” she sings, and we have to agree with that.

Petition To Remove Raven-Symoné From ‘The View’ Has Nearly Reached Its Target

Raven-Symoné has been quite the controversy-starter as of late. When former Cosby Show child star came to The View earlier this year, some wondered whether her penchant for heated rhetoric might give the show a bit of a kick in the pants. She would be the youngest co-host with the most interesting hair.  And, after her comments to Oprah last year that she doesn’t identify as gay or African-American — though Raven-Symoné’s parents are black and she was dating a woman at the time — some thought Symoné to be a master at fuelling identity-politics hashtag wars on Twitter.

Especially with, comment recently has made about not hiring someone with a “black-sounding”

However, now she’s crossed a line, when she weighed in on the video of a Spring Valley High School police officer assaulting a black female student, implying the student brought it upon herself by using her cell phone during school.

Fed up with Symoné’s commentary, a petition has been launched on Change.org, asking The View creator Barbara Walters to remove Symoné from the show.

And now days after it was posted, the petition has garnered more than 128,000 signatures.

Raven Symone has been spouting her ignorant and self hating spiel on the view for Long enough, from stating that she wouldn’t hire somebody for having a ghetto name, to openly complaining about reverse racism, the final straw was her comment about the recent viral video of the school police officer assaulting the student, where Raven Symone said ‘get off your phone in school then.’ African Americans and black people around the diaspora need a voice representative of their views and not a voice representative of what white people want us to say. We need strong black rolemodels in prominent positions on television an Raven Symone cannot provide that. That is why I ask that we petition to remove her from The View.

The petition was posted by Che Scott-Heron, who said she is the daughter of performer Gil Scott-Heron — the iconic, politically minded black performance artist and author of, among many other works, the The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.

The petition is on track to reach its goal of 150,000 supporters, at which point Barbara Walters will surely get wind of the public’s disapproval of Raven and her uncommon opinions.

The question is, will she oblige the call-to-action?

St. Vincent Discuses Her ‘Public’ Relationship With GF Cara Delevingne

Harper’s Bazaar is looking to highlight this year’s ‘boldest, bravest, most fearless females out there’.

Not only did they find them, but they gathered them in one place: the annual Daring issue.

Topping this years list was Grammy-winning Annie Clark better known by her stage name St. Vincent, along with Serena Williams, and actress Julianne Moore.

Shot by Ben Hasset, wearing a jacket, shirt, and pants by Alexander McQueen, St. Vincent discussed her relationship with Cara Delevingne putting her more into the public eye:

St-Vincent-01

There’s been a little bit of enigma peeled back as of late.  But I have a rich life that has nothing to do with the flim-flam.”

St-Vincent-02

She continued:

I know there’s a through-the-looking-glass version of myself, and I don’t feel particularly attached to that version, especially as it pertains to the public eye – it’s kind of removed from my actual life. The long and short of it is that what people think of me is none of my business.”

Evan Rachel Wood Speaks Out On Bisexuality

In an interview with Esquire magazine back in 2011, True Blood star Evan Rachel Wood came out publicly as bisexual and since then has used her position of fame to blow up the negative and harmful discriminatory attitudes facing the bi-community.

Evan-Rachel-Wood-1

Last week, Wood took to Twitter in an active, honest and open conversation, which addressed the battles she’s faced with biphobia and depression.

Her educational, respectful, and enlightening tweets became very personal when she started discussing her own feelings about her place as a bisexual person in the LGBT community.

Inspired by her frank discussion of the topic, Nylon magazine reached out to the star to discuss the topic of bisexuality, bishame and biphobia, in a context that would allow more than 140 character answers.

Explaining that she’d spent years attempting to fit into a box that didn’t fit her, she found accepting her true self has been the key to happiness:

I realized I was happier when I just accepted myself. I stopped feeling like I had to prove my “queerness.” I knew who I was and that was enough. Also just noting that some people view the word queer as offensive. Some embrace it and identify with it. I always liked the word when it wasn’t being used in a derogatory way. So to be clear, I am using it in a non-derogatory sense.

Throughout the interview, Wood gives her interpretations of bisexuality, experimentation and pansexuality, saying that curiosity and forming long term relationships with multiple partners is not the same thing as identifying as bisexual.

Because for some, it is a gateway. Some people go through more of a transition, for whatever reason they feel. But just because you once identified as bisexual and now you identify as gay, doesn’t mean every bisexual is just “afraid to come all the way out.” Your experience is your experience. Period. I have a feminine side and a masculine side. I think I finally found a good marriage between the two. They have made peace with each other. When I am with a man, I am not straight. When I am with a woman, I am not gay. I am always bi. I am always me. I can’t “pick a side” or “shut one down.”

One is not better than the other. They are just different. The only choice I make is the choice to be happy by letting go and just being myself.”

Evan-Rachel-Wood-2

When asked how we can all work to be better allies, Evan shared:

Try not to judge someone before you really know their story. Be good to people who are good to you. And don’t let bad experiences with certain people taint your perception of an entire group of people. That’s how extreme points of view take over and bigotry is born.”

Definitely take the time to check out the whole interview right here. Once again, Evan Rachel Wood has really knocked some effective education out of the park.

Evan Rachel Wood Has An Important Message About Her Bisexuality: ‘We Do Exist’

Since coming out as bisexual in 2011, Evan Rachel Wood has been admirably outspoken about her sexuality.

In honor of Bisexual Awareness Week, which begins Sept. 20, she is shedding insight on the struggles faced within that community.

The actress took to Twitter to explain that, whether she is with a man or a woman, she is still bisexual.

Wildfang-campaign-08

Evan told a Twitter user.

Actually I am divorced with a son and no matter who I am with I am #stillbisexual.

I can assure you that whatever “straight privilege” I sometimes get accused of having, gets erased by #biphobia.

Remember, bisexuality doesn’t mean halfway between gay or straight. It is its own identity.”

Wood has been open about her bisexuality, and spit up with Jamie Bell last year after 19 months of marriage. She was previously engaged to Marilyn Manson.

evan_rachel_wood

She went on:

I think in some cases people don’t want to be labelled because they are ashamed to be bisexual. And this needs to stop. I have battled with myself most of my life because I wasn’t gay or straight enough. I used to think I would never be happy. #biphobia

I had to go through the same panic and shame and depression a lot of people in the LGBT community go through – but when I came out a new found shame took over. Bi-shame. Feeling like people are judging you all over again but for different reasons.”

The True Blood actress previously revealed that she “cried so hard” when she came out as bisexual to her mother.

In an interview with the New York Times, Cyrus talked about her identity and new album.

I feel very gender-fluid. For a long time I didn’t understand my own sexuality. I would get really frustrated and think I’d never understand what I am, because I can’t even figure out if I’m feeling more like a girl or boy. It took me talking to enough trans people to realize that I didn’t ever have to decide on one.”

Kate Winslet Posts Makeup Free Selfie To Encourage Positive Body Image

Over the weekend, Kate Winslet posted a rare makeup free photo on herself on her Facebook page in an effort to make women all over the world feel better about themselves.
Kate Winslet 02

Along with a message for anyone with a negative body image, or who has experienced negatives from other people.

I know I am chubby, I have big feet, and have bad hair days. When I grew up and even now sometimes, I hardly hear any positive reinforcement about body image from any female. I mostly hear negatives. But I know most of the negatives comes from the people who are busy rejoicing other people’ insults by liking demeaning post on Facebook when in reality they don’t even like themselves.

Today, I want to put up a zero makeup photo. I know I have wrinkles on my skin but today i want you to see beyond that. I want to embrace the real me and I want you to embrace who you are, the way you are, and love yourself just the way you are. Share the message everywhere and let it reach the haters and let them know that you don’t give a damn about the negatives and you chose not to be a victim to those bullies who make fun of others based on appearances, race, gender, etc.

And also share if you love yourself the way you are and don’t want to change anything about it. People should appreciate you, the real you.”

The star previously recalled an amazing exchange with her son, when he was 7, and asked what would happen if he were gay.

Miley Cyrus Confirms She is Pansexual Not Bisexual

In a new interview with Elle Magazine, Miley Cyrus has clarified that she actually identifies as pansexual – the attraction to people regardless of sex or gender identity – rather than bisexual, which has been widely reported in the media.

Miley-Cyrus-September-2015-Cover-Star-ELLE-UK-01

She told the magazine:

I’m very open about it – I’m pansexual. But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with.”

The Cyrus also spoke about to discusses why she decided to use her power, and popularity, to do something important by setting up her charity The Happy Hippie Foundation.

I was kind of embarrassed that I got paid money to shake my ass in a teddy bear costume. I should not be worth the amount I am while people live on the streets.”

Miley Cyrus 03

If you get your tits out, and they are all looking, then you can use that space to say something and get them to listen.”

The star says she has no plans to settle down just yet – with a person of any gender.

miley-cyrus-98

Earlier this year, when Cyrus revealed she had dated men and women

There are times in my life where I’ve had boyfriends or girlfriends. And there are times where I just love being with myself and don’t want to give part of myself away to someone else.

I think that’s a new freedom for women, especially. I don’t know that my mother would have been able to be 22 and secure in being alone. But my future doesn’t rely on having a partner.”

Miley Cyrus Goes Undercover To Find Out What The Public Really Think Of Her

Like her or loathe her, everyone has an opinion on Miley Cyrus. So the singer went undercover on Jimmy Kimmel’s show to see what people really thought of her.

Miley Cyrus

Cyrus disguised herself as an Australian called Janet for the talk show host’s ‘I Witness News’ segment and took to the streets of LA to see if, despite the tabloid frenzy, people actually thought she was a bad role model.

One interviewee not only blasted the entire Cyrus family, but later on suggested,

I think she’s starving for attention and that’s why she’s doing it all crazy like that. She’s missing something somewhere.”

miley-janet

Cyrus said, not missing a beat.

In her heart, probably. In her deep soul.”

The awkwardness continued. Cyrus spoke with a man who had no problem with her, but liked Taylor Swift better.

Speaking to another woman, Cyrus pretended to forget her own father’s name while the woman posited,

I think she lost her mind in the Hollywood madness.”

Still, Cyrus had some fun with some of her interviewees, including two teens who sang the chorus of “We Can’t Stop” before joining the eager, pant-suited Janet for a quick twerk. The entire bit ended with one man telling Janet straight up, “I think you’re Miley Cyrus right now.”

Turning towards the man and offering him a peak down her blouse.

Looks like Miley Cyrus, doesn’t it? I need you to keep that on the DL, but it’s Miley Cyrus’ titties. Janet up here, Miley down here.”

If you’re the kind of person that doesn’t hate Miley Cyrus, she is hosting the VMA music awards this weekend, which, given the fracas between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift last month, might make for quite good telly.>

Amy Schumer Owens the Glamour Awards with Awesome Speech (Pics)

Amy Schumer gave an awesome speech at the Glamour Awards.

I’m not nervous. I’m very glamorous. I don’t feel out of place here. I’m 160lbs and can catch a dick any time I want.”

amy-schumer-04

Schumer was presented her award for Trailblazer of the Year by Jennifer Saunders.

It will be very exciting when what I am doing isn’t trailblazing anymore. but I’m very happy to have gotten this.”

Peppering her speech with comic tangents and one-liners, Schumer said:

I’m SO desperate for a selfie with Goldie Hawn that I’m not even going to ask. I would just want it for me, like I would just look at it every night and be like: ‘Goodnight.'”

She continued:

My mom told me I didn’t need to shave above my legs above the knee. I basically like Christopher Robin down there. Having advised women to “definitely get vaccinated for HPV”, Schumer added that she had one goal for the night. And that goal was “to take my underwear off at the end of the night and not make it look like I blew my nose on it.”

The comic has been known for making strong statements with her comedy, including her sketch The Last F**kable Day, which pokes fun at ageism in Hollywood, and the way some female actors present themselves on talk-shows.

Schumer’s sketches are showcased on her US programme Inside Amy Schumer.

Taylor Schilling Rocks Double Denim to Diss the Selfie-Obsessed ‘Kim Kardashian Culture’

Orange Is the New Black’s Taylor Schilling just slammed what she dubbed the inauthentic, selfie-obsessed ‘Kim Kardashian culture.’

In an interview with with Elle Canada and she opened up about how she lives her life sans social media, and managed to throw major shade at the 34-year-old reality star while doing so.

It has almost become a defiant thing at this point because I do not believe this celebrity Kim Kardashian culture is what I signed up for. I’d rather create something honest than try to create something for a social media account.”

Taylor Schilling 01

The Fordham University grad also noted that, in her experience, having more Instagram followers ‘does not get you more jobs’. She went on to explain,

There is something so sad about going online and seeing almost everyone shouting, ‘Notice me, notice me!’ Which is such a human desire — to be acknowledged. But me responding to that with some sort of, ‘You’re noticed, you’re seen’ only perpetuates the loneliness.”

While she might seem unapologetic for her staunch views about what the Internet has to offer, she doesn’t mean to come off that way. Schilling, 30, believes that people deserve to be appreciated in their own way instead of through fictional validation.

Taylor Schilling 04

In fact, she believes it takes real courage to be true online.

It takes a lot of bravery to be authentic and honest and to take that social mask off in order to connect with another human being. So much of what makes us who we are is smoothed away online. And what truly connects us is the wrinkles, not the smoothness.”

She also thinks of herself as too sensitive to be able to handle the criticisms she might face if she shares.

Besides, my brain is just way too fragile for both,” she admits. “I am susceptible to what people think; I think we all are. So it’s just easier for me to not engage with it too much.”

Taylor Schilling 02
