Keke Palmer’s New Song Highlights A Sexist Double Standard About Cheating

‘To change the thoughts of men, it takes a real woman to reverse his psychology’ reads the opening message in Keke Palmer‘s new video for Reverse Psychology.

The track features a role reversal similar to Beyoncé’s If I Were a Boy, in which Palmer asks her cheating boyfriend how he would feel if she used the same excuses.

What if I told you I was out loving another man? What if I told you it didn’t mean a thing? / What if I told you that I loved you so, but these hoes, I can’t let go? / Could you handle all the things that you told me? / How about some reverse psychology?”

Talking to Billboard, Palmer explained about the underlying meaning of the song.

I think for me, especially with the continuation of my shadow kids, it’s all about awareness.” She adds, “I think, while staying true to myself and whatever my current disposition is, it’s important for me to display consciousness or the process of being aware of your thoughts as a young person. Whether it be abstract or actual or both.” Her “shadow kids” were first introduced in her “Enemiez” video, which she says represents her conscience.

Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez took to Twitter this week for a Q&A with her fans.

Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell has been discussing why she won’t label her sexuality.

On her hit show Pretty Little Liars, her character, Emily, is lesbian, but in real life she doesn’t put herself in on category.

When I started, people were like, ‘What are you?’ I’m like, right now I’m dating a guy. I don’t know what it’s going to be in three years,” she told the mag, which she graces the cover of in a red hot swimsuit for the June 2016 issue. “You love who you love. Black, white, polka dot, that’s what my dad always said”

In her personal life, Mitchell is currently in a relationship with a man but doesn’t apply labels to her sexuality, instead advocating a fluid approach.

Talking to Cosmopolitan, she added.

I’m never going to label myself. I could be 50 and dating a woman and then what? I said I was straight and now I’m not?’”

The actress joins a number of high-profile individuals who have rejected categorising their sexuality such as Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart and St Vincent.

Wow, A ‘Gender Fluid’ Lioness, Who Looks, Acts And Roars Like a Male, Discovered in Africa

Scientists have discovered a lioness that is said to exhibit the physical characteristics of both male and female lions.

Mmamoriri the lioness – who lives on the plains of the Okavango Delta in Botswana, southern Africa – has naturally adopted the characteristics of her male counterparts in order to survive.

She has grown a mane to fool invading prides into thinking she is male, as well as developing a deeper and more masculine roar.

However, Mmamoriri – who was first discovered back in 2012 – is not alone.

The scientists believe she is one of five lions in the area with the same adaptations.

In addition, they say that the phenomenon will pass down to the next generation; an evolutionary twist that will ensure future prides can survive at their most vulnerable, if the alpha male is killed or dies.

Mmamoriri is one of the stars of the new BBC documentary, The World’s Sneakiest Animals, which will be shown on Christmas Day.

Others who have adapted their gender in order to survive include male deer, which don’t grow antlers – meaning they are able to ‘sneakily’ breed with females, while the other males fight for access.

The show – presented by wildlife expert Chris Packham – also features cuttlefish that can change colour and shed skin to disguise themselves.

The argument that same-sex relationships are somehow “unnatural” is often wheeled out by those opposed to gay rights – yet the animal kingdom continues to prove that they couldn’t be more wrong.

Same-sex activity is used in the animal kingdom for many reasons, ranging from pleasure-seeking to conflict solving. Many species even form bonds for life with their same-sex partner.

Keke Palmer Says Her Sexuality Is Not Defined By Just One Label

Back in October, former Nickelodeon star Keke Palmer released her video for I Don’t Belong to You, which contained a very bisexual storyline. The video also trigger questions about the stars sexuality.

In it, she leaves her boyfriend and ends up with a woman, who just so happens to be played by Cassie.

At the time, Palmer told Cosmopolitan;

I think the point of the whole video was to let people know that that my sexuality is up to me. That’s really the point — it’s female autonomy and her being who she wants to be in the world; there’s no labels attached, she’s just doing her!

She doesn’t have to explain it to anybody because at the end of the day, it’s her that decides what she wants to do, and who!”

In a recent interview with People Magazine, Palmer explained that she doesn’t feel as if she needs to be tied down to one label when it comes to her sexuality.

The video was to represent the young woman today – it’s not the traditional woman anymore – and not the specifics of ‘Am I gay? Am I straight? Am I bi?’. I’m making the rules for myself, and I don’t have to be stuck down to one label.

Having just wrapped production on Ryan Murphy’s campy co-ed slasher series Scream Queens, Keke says she is now focusing more time on her music career and prepping for an upcoming album.

Another Day, Another Picture of Miley Cryus & ‘Confirmed’ GF Stella Maxwell For Us to Pore Over

Ah it’s another day, and therefore there is another saucy picture of Miley Cyrus on social media for us pore over – 🙂

In a new image – taken by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot for an upcoming W Magazine shoot – Cyrus is seen topless while the girlfriend (as confirmed by W) Stella Maxwell feeds her cake.

Stella was first linked to Miley in May, but the pair confirmed they were more than good friends after they were spotted sharing a passionate smooch on the set of Miley’s video last month.

The kiss came after Miley, who was previously engaged to Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, told Paper Magazine that she was open to bisexuality.

Well, the rumours are at least partially true. The pair were spotted kissing during a break on set of Cyrus’ upcoming music video, with TMZ catching them making out against a bus – capturing it on video.

This appears to be an invasion of privacy that is not above TMZ, of course, (who loves a good sex tape). But don’t feel weird about watching the video (which, I may add, depicts a SERIOUS make out session. There’s ass grabbing and hands being shoved down pants and everything), Cyrus and Maxwell make eye-contact with the camera before going at it.

It’s reported that both were very aware that photographers were snapping photos of them, but the two seemed comfortable enough to ignore them. They both simply looked happy and not interested in hiding it.

In a candid interview with Paper Magazine back in June, Cyrus expressed,

I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult—anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me.”

She recalled the first time she shared her attraction towards women with her mother and telling her,

Maxwell also has spoken about Cyrus in the past, sharing the story of how they met with V Magazine:

The rumour mills are going crazy with this one.

According to reports, the former Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, is involved Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell for the past few months.

A source says:

They hold hands and hug and are very comfortable together. They’re definitely together.”

The two have been linked to each other’s Instagram feeds, so it’s not hard to imagine them being close in some way.

Miley, who has made countless headlines lately regarding her sexuality, again grabbed the spotlight on Tuesday night, when she brought an “agender” date, Tyler Ford, to the amfAR Gala in New York City.

Miley has previously been linked to Patrick Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth. However, although she says she has had relationships with women, she has chosen to keep those private.

She said:

There are times in my life where I’ve had boyfriends or girlfriends. And there are times where I just love being with myself and don’t want to give part of myself away to someone else … I think that’s a new freedom for women, especially.”

As far as Stella and Miley (might we suggest “Stiley” if this sticks?), the two have reportedly been spending time together since Miley split from Schwarzenegger in March. Both gals have made numerous appearances on each other’s Instagram pages over the past few months.

Miley apparently met the 24-year-old runway bombshell through her friend/assistant Cheyne Thomas.

Miley Cyrus Discusses the Dynamics of Dating Men and Women

Miley Cyrus has once again opened up about on her sexuality and the experiences she’s shared when dating both men and women.

The former Hannah Montana recently did a interview with Time magazine, where she talked about her past relationships with both men and women, Instagram insecurities and her new role as an advocate for people across the gender spectrum.

In the interview, Cyrus discusses having a future that could involve a husband or wife or perhaps being a single mom by choice.

She’s also reflecting on how dissatisfied she felt in past romances, especially with the expectations for how men and women are supposed to act.

That made me feel like I had to be a femme-bot, which I’m not. And then when I was with a girl, I felt like, ‘Oh s–t, she’s going to need someone to protect her, so I’m going to need to have this macho energy.’ And that didn’t feel right either.”

As for what she’s looking for in a partner, Cyrus revealed it was about more than sex.

In addition to addressing her sexuality, Cyrus also revealed why she’s been so hell-bent on losing her Disney star persona.

Cyrus adds that she’s devoted to efforts, like her #InstaPride campaign, that make those in the LGBT community more comfortable with who they are.
