Alt-rock Goddess St. Vincent Unveils ‘Fear The Future Tour’

After teasing a new album due out later this year, St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark has announced that she will be hitting the road this fall for the Fear the Future tour.

St. Vincent released her last album back in 2014 to rave reviews. The self-titled LP not only got her a performance on the season finale of Saturday Night Live when it came out, but she also won a Grammy for Best Alternative Album.

The Fear The Future Tour announcement comes in the midst of an eventful year for St. Vincent.

The singer and “bona fide guitar god [and] pop visionary” (Rolling Stone) made her directorial debut in February when The Birthday Party from the XX horror anthology premiered at the Sundance Film Festival (she also wrote and scored the piece).

More recently, she was named ambassador for Record Store Day 2017, recorded a 7” single with John Legend to benefit Planned Parenthood, and unveiled updates to her signature collection of Ernie Ball guitars.

In recent conversation with Rookie Mag, St. Vincent shared her words of wisdom for teens struggling to stay positive about themselves. Not only did the musician admit that she was “very, very, very shy and very anxious” growing up, but she also explained that she “felt very uncomfortable talking to people.” To remedy these kinds of thoughts and feelings, the sexually fluid rocker reminded fans that “no one’s looking at you and no one cares because everyone is obsessed with themselves …  and know that other people are feeling the same way as you.”

St. Vincent also added:

Fake it till you make it. If you don’t have confidence, pretend to be a person who does, and eventually, you will have confidence because you’ll see the fruits of your reaching out to people.”

Kristen Stewart Makes First Public Appearance With St Vincent

Kristen Stewart and St Vincent stepped out together this week, make their red carpet debut.

The pair arrived together at the Vogue party in LA on Wednesday night, going public with their romance for the first time.

Vincent and Stewart are rumoured to have been dating for the last few weeks and have been spotted out and about together on a number of occasions.

But the Hollywood fashion event marked the first time that they had attended a public event together, putting the rumours to rest.

St. Vincent split from her model ex Cara Delevingne this past summer after a year of dating. The singer was first spotted with Stewart in early October when they attended the New York Film Festival together.

Stewart previously dated producer Alicia Cargile. She talked with ET earlier this week about being more open about her personal life recently.

I think it takes a minute to sort of acclimate to communicating with so many people at one time, with like, ‘the masses,’ you know. I think it’s only beneficial, like… for me to have so many pathways open — it ends up kind of not allowing people to misconstrue you.”

The Conundrum Of The Hour: Are Kristen Stewart And Annie Clark Dating Now Or What?

Tongues are beginning to wag – are these guys together, or just suddenly really good friends?

The press would have us believe Kristen Stewart is dating musician St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark).

‘Sources’ have told both Us Weekly and Page Six that the pair – who were spotted hanging out in New York last week – are definitely an item

And according to Us Weekly, Stewart brought Clark to premiere of her film Certain Women in New York. The following week, Stewart attended Clark’s concert in Los Angeles.

But what happened to Cara and Alicia? Well, this summer St. Vincent and Cara Delevingne called it quits on their relationship.

Kristen Stewart is now reported to have split from her on-off girlfriend Alicia Cargile.

Stewart, who has become increasingly vocal about her dating life, told Elle that she is ready to be up front about her romantic life.

I’m not ashamed, and I’m not confused. Things have changed. And not just with me—we’re really allowed to encourage this new acceptance to develop and be awesome.”

But as her relationship with Clark reportedly begins, it’s taking place in the public eye.

Only time will tell if they make it onto the list of confirmed fall 2016 romances—repairing some of this summer’s leftover heartbreak.

15 Times That Cara Delevingne Was The Anti – Celebrity We Needed

We can’t help but love Cara Delevingne. Some of her comments and actions are just laugh out loud funny, or a face palm of an OMG when you just can’t believe she actually said that out loud.

Here is a collection of her most famous antics that drove the media and her fans crazy.

1. She got naked in a forest

Only Cara would choose to get naked and not care one iota who saw her. She told Konan in an interview that in order to get into character for Suicide Squad:

I was in a forest and it was a full moon so I got naked.” How many of us would’ve loved to have seen those pics?

2. When she joined the Mile High Club

Not one to miss out on an opportunity to have some fun, Cara told LOVE magazine that:

I have had sex on a plane lots. But I always get caught.”

I bet the air hostesses or fellow passengers that caught her had open mouths at seeing that.

3. Her inbuilt nipple detector

Cara announced in an interview while promoting Suicide Squad that she has an unusual talent for finding nipples. The mind boggles at that one.

4. The people she texts when drunk

Apparently when Cara is drunk she texts Margot Robbie and none other than Prince Harry. They have been friends for years and are text pals as well. Exactly what one says to Royalty when drunk can only be left up to our vivid imaginations.

5. That awkward interview

Cara once gave an interview to an American Breakfast Programme and announced that presenters were irritating. In her usual sarcastic tone, the interview quickly went from uncomfortable to just plain awkward in less than a few minutes. I don’t think they will rush to invite her back, somehow.

6. Pulling a prank on the Haim Sisters and Kesha

While celebrating 4th July at Taylor Swifts house Cara revealed she pranked the Haim’s and Kesha which risked security and could’ve ended up with the police being called. Only Cara would do this and not give a damn about it.

7. Twittering Cara style

Richard Madden, the Game of Thrones actor, once bad mouthed Cara in an interview so Cara tweeted him publically and called him ‘desperate’.

8. She makes funny faces.

Fact: There is nothing—nothing—more charming than pretty girls making funny faces.

9. She’s also, by the way, very pretty.

10. She’s a fearless photobomber.

11. She can beatbox.

12. When she dances, it looks like noodles.

She’s like the kid at the ballet recital who doesn’t know the steps.

13. Her openness about her sexuality

Cara has always been open and frank about her sexuality and she is always gushing over her girlfriend, St Vincent. One of her best quotes has to be:

I’m gay because I’m too crazy for men.”

You tell it like it is, gal.

14. Her friendship with Kate Moss

We may never be done thinking about that one Burberry shoot where she and Kate Moss unbuttoned their coats and stood naked, pressed together in a warm Burberry rain.

15. Her menstration xonvo with Seth Meyers

Most women get a tad embarrassed when it’s our time of the month, but not Cara. During an interview with Seth Myers they were discussing a fashion shoot she once had with a bear. So Cara announces:

If I was on my period it wouldn’t have been allowed because the Bear would smell my blood.”

Ewww, thanks for sharing that one with us.

Please don’t change Cara. We love your sassy attitude!

What Would Cara Do? Watch Cara Delevingne Interview Herself For British Vogue

In the interview Delevingne speaks out about her career as an actress, her girlfriend St Vincent and her fear that she’s only ever hired because of how many special media followers she has.

They also got her to make this video of her interviewing herself.

In the video, Delevingne dons an American accent as the interviewee and asks herself a series of questions including, what advice she would give to her 16 year-old self, should Donald Trump be president of the United States and why can’t you show your nipples on Instagram.

Cara Delevingne Talks Labels And Being ‘Completely In Love’ With Annie Clark

In an interview with British Vogue, the magazine’s September cover star Cara Delevingne opened up about her relationship with Annie Clark, the singer-songwriter known as St. Vincent and being labelled gay.

Cara Delevingne And Annie Clark 02

I’m completely in love…..Before, I didn’t know what love was – real love. I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that’s for yourself or for the world or your partner.”

She continued:

As a child I used gay as a bad world, as in, ‘that’s so gay’. All my friends did. (Her parents) have been so, so supportive. I’m obviously in love, so if people want to say I’m gay, that’s great. But we’re all liquid – we change, we grow.”

Delevingne also admitted her biggest worry was being employed because of her social media following. The model has amassed a substantial and loyal community of fans over the years and has 31.6 million followers on Instagram, 6 million on Twitter and 5.3 million on Facebook.

My greatest fear is always that I have just been hired because of my number of followers.”

Delevingne plays the role of the Enchantress in Suicide Squad which is released in UK cinemas on 5 August.

Cara Delevingne And Annie Clark Star In Marc Jacobs’s Fall 2016 Campaign

From strolling the red carpet with Cher to inviting Lady Gaga to close his show, Marc Jacobs has a knack for aligning himself with celebrities.

And for his new Fall 2016 campaign, Jacobs chose an eclectic handful of musicians, actors and other visionaries to model his designs. In including Cara Delevingne along with boo Annie Clark.

Writing on Instagram, Jacobs said

In a continuing series of portraits for our Fall 2016 ad campaign, the individuals in these photographs represent a collective embodiment of love, honesty, integrity, courage, strength, curiosity and inspiration. Together, as one story, this collection is a reminder to question and challenge normal and to continue exploring and pushing boundaries.”

Jacobs, who dedicates each campaign image with an accompanying message on Instagram, began to write about Delevingne.

Every once in a blue moon I am fortunate enough to meet a model with a personality so huge it almost overshadows even the strongest of looks, the most dramatic fashion. When I met Care through Katie Grand a few years ago, she was the girl in the animal onesie with boundless energy, great humor and in perpetual motion. Watching Cara’s growth and evolution into a dynamic, outspoken, independent woman is a true joy, just as she is herself.”

It’s been reported that Cara Delevingne and St Vincent moved into a new love palace in Paris, as rumours also build that they will marry soon. (Awwww)

US soccer star, Abby Wambach, was arrested over the weekend for not stopping at a red light and failing a sobriety test. According to her Facebook post, the incident happened in Portland, Oregon, after dinner at a friend’s house.

Those that know me, know that I have always demanded excellence from myself. I have let myself and others down,’ she wrote. ‘I take full responsibility for my actions. This is all on me. I promise that I will do whatever it takes to ensure that my horrible mistake is never repeated.”

University of San Francisco coach and former Stanford and U.S. star Jennifer Azzi has come out as gay, announcing she is married to her top assistant, Blair Hardiek.

Cara Delevingne Writes Powerful Essay On Self-Acceptance

Cara Delevingne has written an essay for Motto, and in it she gets brutally honest about how she struggled through her younger years as a model, confessing that one of the hardest things she had to deal with was the constant need to be ‘accepted’ by everyone in the industry.

I felt like I needed validation from everyone. As a result, I lost sight of myself and what it meant to be happy, what it meant to be successful. I think it all stemmed from a deep-down feeling of wanting people to like me and love me.”

She also admits that during her time as a model she was never truly happy because of all the expectations she had put on herself.

Over time, I came to realize that work and getting others’ approval isn’t the most important thing. Yes, your career is very important—but it’s not the most important. Of course I was proud of my accomplishments, but I wasn’t genuinely happy.”

On top of the emotional struggles she faced, she also found that being overworked impacted her physical health, as she developed the painful skin condition, psoriasis.

Recently Cara has hung up her modelling shoes and left the runway, giving up her successful modelling career to focus more on acting and her relationship with girlfriend, singer St. Vincent.

Annie Clark Debuts Her New Custom Signature Ernie Ball Music Man Guitar (Video)

Annie Clark, who’s better known as St. Vincent has revealed her custom signature Ernie Ball Music Man guitar.

st.vincent-on-her-guitar5

Envisioned and designed by Clark with support from the engineering team at Ernie Ball Music Man, the guitar was crafted to perfectly fit her form, technique and style.

I’m extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to design a guitar this personal with this company, this family, in whom I believe so completely.

The entirety of my experience as a guitarist is invested in this instrument. I sought to create a tool that would help and inspire those who share my priorities in a guitar, namely that it be comfortable and lightweight and that it exhibit clean lines, all without sacrificing tone flexibility.

It is with pride that I present the St. Vincent Signature Ernie Ball Music Man Guitar.”

US Magazines Claims Kendall Jenner Is A Lesbian, (And Harry Styles Is Playing Her Beard)

Every so often, a celeb ‘sexuality’ rumour springs up that sends the world into melt down. And this one is a classic…

Despite a rather public display of affection with Harry Styles this holiday season, a US magazine is trying to claim that Kendall’s actually a lesbian who’s “captivated” by BFF Cara D instead.

Cara-and-Kendall-cuddle-main

Cara and Kendall – who affectionately refer to themselves as CaKe – are longtime friends, and Cara is loved-up with girlfriend St Vincent.

Reports in America’s OK! magazine include a quote from a ‘source’ claiming Kendall is openly gay among her close pals and her best pal Cara is helping her to accept herself.

Kendall is a lesbian. She’s only just started talking about it with her inner circle. She reassured Kendall that the stigma of being gay is gone and encouraged her to allow herself the freedom to be who she really is.”

They added her feelings have “only gotten deeper” and “Kendall is captivated by Cara.”

https://twitter.com/princelarents/status/682807539138965504

Appearing to completely quash any rumours about her sexuality, Kendall even admitted to setting New Year’s resolutions about finding a boyfriend.

She wrote on her website:

I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions. I don’t write a list down or anything, it’s definitely more of an in-my-head kind of thing. I set random goals like ‘find a boyfriend’ but it’s not legit at all, lol.”

So there’s a plot twist for ya. A potentially completely false and made up plot twist, but a plot twist none the less for any Harry girls who might be feeling like running off to join a nunnery.

10 Famous Women Who Came Out in 2015

Last year, we brought you our top 10 list of out women who ‘totally rocked’ 2014, but this year we’re switching it up a bit as so many famous ladies found the courage to start living their truths (or 2015 was just the year that they spoke about their identities to the media) that we couldn’t help but celebrate!

Our hearts have swelled and we may have shed a few tears or so finding out that yes, celebrities are just like us. So without further ado, here’s our list of 10 famous women who came out during 2015.

1. Holland Taylor

Holland Taylor

If you’re up to date on queer media then you’ll probably know Holland Taylor as Peggy Peabody in The L Word or as Mrs. Petrie in D.E.B.S, but if you’ve spent any time on the Internet in the last few weeks then you’ll know her from the media’s headlines.

During an interview with WYNC’s Death, Sex and Money podcast, Taylor explained that “I haven’t come out because I am out, I live out” and that she’s in her ‘first-ever deeply committed relationship’.

Calling the relationship “the most wonderful extraordinary thing that could have ever possibly happened in my life”, Taylor didn’t reveal her partner’s identity during the podcast but following Internet speculation, it was soon confirmed that her girlfriend is the one and only Sarah Paulson.

2. Kristen Stewart

kristen-stewart-short-hair-01

Kristen Stewart is best known to heterosexuals for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight movie franchise but she’s (probably) best known to the rest of us as the woman of our dreams. Indeed, after photos of her out and about with her ‘gal pal’ Alicia Cargile began to do the rounds, many began to ask whether or not Kristen Stewart is actually not-heterosexual.

Kristen Stewart gives a death stare getting coffee

After her mother appeared to out her, confirming the relationship between the two women, the actresses interview with NYLON was published. In it, she explained that

I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out!’ No, I do a job. Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving…I don’t.”

Moreover, she thinks that “in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don’t think it’s necessary to figure out if you’re gay or straight. It’s like, just do your thing.”

3. Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner 05

When it comes to the Kardashian/Jenner family, it’s usually Kim, Khloe, Kylie or Kendall making the headlines but in June, it was Caitlyn Jenner as she came out as a trans woman.

In a beautiful photoshoot and interview with Vanity Fair, the Olympian and reality TV star revealed her true gender identity.

Caitlyn has been a controversial figure amongst the transgender community ever since (her E! reality show suggests that she still has a lot to learn about the struggles of less-privileged trans people) and on The Ellen DeGeneres show she admitted to the talk show host that she’s still a bit wary when it comes to same-sex marriage but her coming out did spark a conversation and it encouraged many other people to come out too.

4. Ingrid Nilsen

Ingrid Nilsen

If you don’t spend much time on YouTube then there’s a good chance that up until June of this year, you had no idea who Ingrid Nilsen was.

But, in an emotional, 19 minute video, the beauty and fashion vlogger revealed her struggle of being closeted and how much it meant to her to be able to tell those around her (and her almost 4 million subscribers) about her identity.

And, in a super cute turn of events, not long after Ingrid came out, she revealed that she’s dating (fellow YouTube superstar) Hannah Hart!

5. Jess Glynne

Rather Be Jess Glynne

Holy My Hand, Not Letting Go, My Love, Rather Be, and Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself; these massively popular songs all reached number 1 in the UK and earned Jess Glynne a place in the record books as the British solo female with the most #1 singles (a record she shares with Cheryl Fernandez Versini). But as we were all dancing along, Jess revealed exactly what inspired all of the tracks.

Her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, was inspired by her break up with her ex-girlfriend, though she told The Daily Star Sunday that “I’m never going to put a label on my sexuality and people should never feel uncomfortable about who they love”.

6. Miley Cyrus

Miley-Cyrus-01

Miley Cyrus is one controversial figure and her tabloid-featuring antics mean that some people loathe her rather than like her.

However, plenty of people supported her when the former Disney star came out as pansexual earlier this year and she also spoke about her gender identity too.

Speaking to Paper magazine, the singer and actress told the publication that “I don’t relate to being boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy or girl”.

Note: Despite this being a list of ‘out famous women’, Miley Cyrus identifies as gender-fluid and not as a woman.

7. Ramona Bachmann

Ramona Bachmann

This year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup was a defining moment of 2015 for so many reasons.

Not only was it the most viewed women’s world cup in the tournament’s history and not only did it ignite a debate about sexism and equal treatment (due to the women being paid less than the men and having to play on astro-turf) but because many non-heterosexual football players would be playing too.

Joining Megan Rapinoe, Abby Wambach, Ali Krieger and several others was Swiss player Ramona Bachmann who actually came out at the world cup. She revealed that her girlfriend, Camille, was at the tournament supporting her and that they’d been together for almost a year.

8. Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne 07

Supermodel and actress Cara Delevingne is no stranger to the LGBTQ community having made headlines last year when she attended a basketball game with her then-girlfriend Michelle Rodriguez, with the two of them being all over each other as they sat court-side.

But in Vogue she spoke openly about her sexuality, saying that she’s in love with her girlfriend Annie Clark (known by her stage name, St. Vincent) and that she could fall for anyone of any gender.

Unfortunately, the Vogue interview seemed to frame her sexuality as a phase and not long after, Delevingne clarified, saying “my sexuality is not a phase. I am who I am”

9. Patricia Velasquez

Patricia-Velasquez-03

Model and actress Patricia Velasquez is credited as being the world’s first Latina supermodel and in 1994 she was also the first Venezuelan model to be part of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. But what people didn’t know is that during that same decade – the 90s – Velasquez was also coming to terms with her identity as a gay woman.

In her memoir, Straight Walk: A Supermodel’s Journey to Finding Her Truth, she reveals that she first realised her sexuality after she fell for Sandra Bernhard and that

among the fashion world and fashion people, I always felt great because, you know, the fashion world is very open and I felt very welcome”.

10. Angel McCoughtry

Angel McCoughtry

Angel McCoughtry is one of the WNBA’s most talented players having helped the USA basketball team win Olympic gold and world championship gold, but earlier this year it wasn’t her basketball achievements that had everyone talking.

The sports web was abuzz as McCoughtry left Turkish club Fenerbahҫe (officially due to contractual disagreements) and came out on Instagram.

In an Instagram post with her fiancé, Brande Elise, the basketball star revealed that “yes we been discriminated against! We lost friends! Family members are upset! They said I disgraced my religion!” also claiming that Fenerbahҫe “threatened” her job if she didn’t post on social media saying that their relationship is a lie. Hardships aside, “one thing I do know”, wrote McCoughtry, “is that LOVE is a great feeling”

Cara Delevingne Reveals What Makes The Perfect Girlfriend (And We’d Have To Agree)

Cara Delevingne has offered a rare insight into her romantic nature, and what makes her relationship with St Vincent work, and what she thinks makes the perfect girlfriend.

The model-turned-actress revealed that she has penned love letters and travelled long distances for past partners.

1. Loyalty. Cara Delevingne goes all in when it comes to her relationships, describing herself as “ride or die” and saying “if I care about someone, I’ll jump in front of a car for them”. Now that’s commitment.

2. Trust is key: Cara says trust is the most valuable thing in a partner, and that “loyalty is one of the most important things to me in the world”.

3. Opposites attract: Cara says her and St Vincent work so well together because of they’ve got such different personalities; “I can’t date someone who’s like me because we’d probably end up killing each other”.

4. Plan, plan plan. We already knew Cara was a free spirit, but it seems she needs a partner who is a bit more organised and can “plan things”. With both of their schedules, we’re not surprised!

5. Romance is a winner: Cara is a fan of sweet gestures, and used to send love letters to people she fancied. She also “serenaded a couple of people before, which is really embarrassing”. Well, at least she can sing!

7. Going the distance: Cara says she’s travelled “very far” to see someone for just a day, which is super sweet.

Delevingne has been pretty open about her relationship with musician St Vincent lately, and it looks like the couple are still in the honeymoon stage of their relationship.

BBC Presenter Opens Up About Her Struggles Growing Up With No Lesbian Role Models

BBC presenter Jane Hill – who came out in 2009 – told the Mail on Sunday about her struggle to come out and said she had no one to look up to, but credited fellow host Sue Perkins and model Cara Delevingne for increasing the public’s acceptance of LGBT women.

Where were girls like Cara when I needed them?”

Hill also discussed the difficulties she faced when coming out – a struggle she believes the younger generation will no longer face.

Jane Hill 05

Talking to The Mail on Sunday, she said

When I was growing up, I had terrible struggles with who I was,” said Hill. “It was hugely difficult for me. I didn’t know any lesbians. I didn’t see any gay women in the media in magazines. It wasn’t talked about. It wasn’t part of the conversation.

I went through my 20s and 30s not being who I was and not feeling it was right for me to be able to be who I was. There was just one image of a lesbian, this tough clichéd image and it didn’t fit me. I really struggled and it took me a very long time to get here.”

She added.

What I think is truly incredible is that I now look in a magazine and I see Cara Delevingne, this beautiful model, just completely relaxed about who she is and not trying to hide it, not being secretive.”

Delevingne, who recently went public with her relationship with singer St. Vincent, has been open about being bisexual, telling Vogue earlier this year that she has loved both men and women.

Cara-Delevingne-Topshop-02

Hill continued:

What I find even more extraordinary the fact she is gay isn’t even a story. It’s just accepted, it’s fine. It’s just who she is. For young girls growing up, this is incredible.”

She also credited Sue Perkins for helping to “turn the tide” for young lesbian and bisexual women in the UK.

There she is, a completely open, gay woman hosting the biggest BBC show on television. Bake Off is huge. But it’s about middle class, middle England, Mary Berry and Victoria sponge cakes and there is Sue just embraced as part of all that and to any woman of my age who is gay it’s an extraordinarily wonderful thing.

I know Sue, I think she’s wonderful and, like Cara, I think she’s absolutely inspirational and just the very fact of them representing themselves not as clichés but as who they are is tremendous.”

Sue Perkins

However, she said that she is cautious of using her sexuality to further her career and criticised celebrities such as Miley Cyrus – who revealed she is pansexual earlier this year – for doing so.

I see people like Miley Cyrus doing the gay thing – and while that’s absolutely fine – it’s not such a realistic representation for most women. It’s a bit of a London bubble thing, a fashion thing. But we’re moving forward. For me life is good.

At work, my sexuality has never been an issue. That’s how it should be. I’m just very glad I can be exactly who I am.”

St. Vincent Discuses Her ‘Public’ Relationship With GF Cara Delevingne

Harper’s Bazaar is looking to highlight this year’s ‘boldest, bravest, most fearless females out there’.

Not only did they find them, but they gathered them in one place: the annual Daring issue.

Topping this years list was Grammy-winning Annie Clark better known by her stage name St. Vincent, along with Serena Williams, and actress Julianne Moore.

Shot by Ben Hasset, wearing a jacket, shirt, and pants by Alexander McQueen, St. Vincent discussed her relationship with Cara Delevingne putting her more into the public eye:

St-Vincent-01

There’s been a little bit of enigma peeled back as of late.  But I have a rich life that has nothing to do with the flim-flam.”

She continued:

I know there’s a through-the-looking-glass version of myself, and I don’t feel particularly attached to that version, especially as it pertains to the public eye – it’s kind of removed from my actual life. The long and short of it is that what people think of me is none of my business.”

Cara Delevingne Admits to Being a ‘Hopeless Romantic’ on Nick Grimshaw Show

Cara Delevingne – whose film credits now include Paper Towns and the comic book movie Suicide Squad – was a guest on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio One breakfast show.

In the interview the 22-year-old star confessed she is a major romantic soul and has even serenaded (yep – serenaded) old flames in the past.

I’m a hopeless romantic. I’ve done some outwardly romantic gestures. I’ve written songs for people, serenaded people with poems.”

However, sadly Cara – who is dating musician St Vincent – is still waiting for the gesture to be returned admitting that she’s never the one in receipt of the aforementioned serenades:

I think it’s always better to wait until someone does it to you. Because, to be honest, I don’t think someone’s done something super romantic for me.”

St Vincent, it’s over to you!

Her parents seem to think girls are just a phase for Cara, and they may be correct.”

In response, an online petition was set up, calling for the magazine to apologise. The petition received than 20,000 signatures.

Cara as now also weighed in on the comments.

Speaking to the New York Times, Cara– who is currently dating musician St Vincent – said:

My sexuality is not a phase. I am who I am.”

However, she also added that while she was flattered by the show of support online, she was sure the article was “nothing malicious”.

On learning to block out her life’s distractions, she said:

Being in love helps, you know? If you’re in love with someone, you can be with them like no one else is in the room. Acting is like that. It’s like taking that feeling and turning it on so nothing else matters when you’re looking in another actor’s face.”

Delevingne recently called out Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott for opposing same-sex marriage – at the Australian première of Paper Towns.

Tony Abbott, you better listen to the rest of the world and carry on. Go with it.”

Speaking at the Sydney premiere for her new film Paper Towns, she said:

I think everyone has a right to be whoever they want to be, so I’m just very happy. I think it’s wonderful that you know, it’s being accepted more and more… I’ve been pretty open about myself from the beginning.”

Ireland recently voted yes in a same-sex marriage referendum and the US introduced same-sex marriage too, but Cara encouraged Australia’s prime minister to follow suit.

Talking to the Mail at the Australian première of her latest film Paper Towns, Cara Delevingne, has called out the politician.

Tony Abbott, you better listen to the rest of the world and carry on. Go with it. I’ve been pretty open about myself from the beginning. I think it’s wonderful that you know, it’s being accepted more and more. And I think everyone has a right to be whoever they want to be. So I’m just very happy.”

Australian Prime Minster Tony Abbott is a staunch opponent of equal marriage, but is facing pressure to allow his MPs a free vote on a cross-party marriage bill, following progress in Ireland and the United States.

Delevingne, who is in a same-sex relationship with musician St Vincent, spoke about her new relationship and sexual preference in a recent interview with Vogue.

It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it. I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle.”

Vogue Magazine Criticised For Suggesting Cara Delevingne’s Sexuality is Just a “Phase”

The Cara Delevingne has previously avoided discussing her relationships, but in an interview with Vogue, she opened up about struggling with her sexuality while growing up.

However, while the article carried a positive message, it contained the line:

Her parents seem to think girls are just a phase for Cara, and they may be correct.”

The magazine is now the subject of a petition which calls for an apology.

The author of the petition ulie Rodriguez writes;

As a bisexual woman myself, I’ve experienced hurtful comments like this many times. People are quick to assume queer women’s identities are a ‘phase’ and to refuse to recognise the important relationships in their lives — an attitude which can cause depression, result in families rejecting their daughters and even put young women at risk of suicide.

Vogue should have taken this opportunity to combat negative stereotypes, not reinforce them. We should be applauding Cara for coming out as queer, and being open about her relationships with men and women.”

Delevingne is considered the ‘it’ girl of our time. She appears in ad campaigns, music videos, and movies. The tabloid’s love her, we love her and fans love her. And the fact that she’s in a relationship with a woman and proud is great.

Cara Delevingne Opens Up About Sexuality & Her Girlfriend in Vogue’s July Issue

Cara Delevingne is the ‘it’ girl of our time. She appears in ad campaigns, music videos, and movies. The tabloid’s love her, we love her and fans love her. And the fact that she’s in a relationship with a woman and proud of it has been the least focused-on part of her career thus far.

cara-delevingne-july-2015-cover

In the July issue of Vogue, the 22-year-old speaks candidly about her sexuality and how she’s in lover with her girlfriend St Vincent (aka Annie Clark).

She admitted:

I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle.”

We couldn’t be happier for her, especially considering the long road, which led to this moment in her life.

When first coming to terms with her sexuality, she revealed:

It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it. But I have erotic dreams only about men. I had one two nights ago where I went up to a guy in the back of a VW minivan, with a bunch of his friends around him, and pretty much jumped him … The thing is, if I ever found a guy I could fall in love with, I’d want to marry him and have his children. And that scares me to death because I think I’m a whole bunch of crazy, and I always worry that a guy will walk away once he really, truly knows me.”

Pyrrhic victory!!!!!!

Cara doesn’t just open up about her love life though, as she also confesses about issues with partying, modelling, and struggle with depression.

On the difference between modeling and acting:

The thrill of acting is making a character real. Modeling is the opposite of real. It’s being fake in front of the camera.”

On wanting to leave the modeling world:

I’m not sure I understand what fashion is anymore. I admit I was terrified to leave. I mean, the bubble gives you a kind of dysfunctional family. When you’re in it, you get it. And the second you’re out of it, you’re like, What the hell just happened?”

cara-delevingne-july-2015-01

On her mom’s struggle with heroine addiction:

It shapes the childhood of every kid whose parent has an addiction. You grow up too quickly because you’re parenting your parents. My mother’s an amazingly strong person with a huge heart, and I adore her. But it’s not something you get better from, I don’t think. I know there are people who have stopped and are fine now, but not in my circumstance. She’s still struggling.”

On suffering from depression as a teen:

This is something I haven’t been open about, but it’s a huge part of who I am. All of a sudden I was hit with a massive wave of depression and anxiety and self-hatred, where the feelings were so painful that I would slam my head against a tree to try to knock myself out. I never cut, but I’d scratch myself to the point of bleeding. I just wanted to dematerialize and have someone sweep me away.”

And she continued, sharing:

I smoked a lot of pot as a teenager, but I was completely mental with or without drugs. I thought that if I wanted to act, I’d need to finish school, but I got so I couldn’t wake up in the morning. The worst thing was that I knew I was a lucky girl, and the fact that you would rather be dead . . . you just feel so guilty for those feelings, and it’s this vicious circle. Like, how dare I feel that way? So you just attack yourself some more.”

Which lead to her low point. Cara explained:

Full-on bubble. I was packing my bags, and suddenly I just wanted to end it. I had a way, and it was right there in front of me. And I was like, I need to decide whether I love myself as much as I love the idea of death.” And then a song started playing on her laptop, Outkast’s SpottieOttieDopaliscious, which had been played at the funeral of a friend who had recently died of a heroin overdose. “It felt like a warning from him. And it made me so furious with myself.”

No one can ever say she’s had it easy. She’s gone through so much, but at least has the support of so many good friends.

Did Cara Delevingne and girlfriend Annie Clark get engaged?

Oh how celebrities enjoy tormenting us mere mortals via their social media accounts!

Cara Delevingne and her girlfriend Annie Clark have sparked rumours of an engagement.

Yesterday, Annie Clark, aka musician St. Vincent, posted a cryptic Instagram after hanging with Stella McCartney’s model squad at the designer’s Resort 2016 presentation.

She captioned the snap: “Ok…”

Ok…

Fans of the couple – who’ve been dating since earlier this year – went crazy, begging the pair to tell them if the rumours were true.

Neither Cara or Annie have commented on the speculation.

However, upon further analysis, it appears that the writing could indeed be Cara’s. Here’s a survey she filled out and that someone uploaded to Pinterest. We’re no professional handwriting analysts, but the similarities are not non-existent. There’s also zero reason to think that just because the handwriting is Cara’s that they’re definitely getting married, especially with THAT caption.

But, before we all go rushing out to buy our wedding hats (because we’d totally be invited) it’s worth remembering that ‘Marry Me’ is also the title to St Vincent’s debut album and we may just be getting ahead of ourselves here.

BFFs Cara Delevingne and Zoë Kravitz Just Made the Craziest Rom-Com Film Ever – Must watch

Because we CANNES! Zoe vs Zoe @zoeisabellakravitz @pgdm #idbangher #excusethepun   A video posted by Cara Delevingne (@caradelevingne) on

This Instagram video is a bit of a mind f*ck in that we don’t have the slightest idea of what’s happening. But basically, here’s the plot.

  1. Cara urges Zoë to tell Jimmy she loves him. (Jimmy is a guy with white-blond hair and horrible taste.)
  2. Enter Zoë’s clone who has the confidence to give this guy her number.
  3. Zoë watches so she can see what would happen if she professed her love.
  4. But the guy is not into her at all.
  5. Cara and some other dude think she’s really hot though.
  6. Zoë’s thinks that Zoë (herself and her competition) is gross.

We get it: it’s an art film. The film doesn’t concern itself with logic so we can’t really follow it. Instead, we must abandon disbelief as we watch one Zoë accept defeat and agree that the other Zoë is horrible. The best tack is to just draw your own conclusion.

Gossip Alert | Which Out It Girl’s Relationship May Be On The Rocks?

It’s easy to be all cozy and coupled up in the winter, but now that spring fever has set in, many couples in Hollywood are finding it a lot harder to stay oh so in love.

Rumours have been flying the past few weeks that Cara Delevingne fling with rocker St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) is on the rocks.

The model and now actress took to Twitter to curb the rumours – tweeting that she’s “very much in love.”

But sources at Star are telling us a verrrrrry different story…

The relationship is a constant roller coaster that’s more of a partying partnership than a love affair. It’s always the same story with Cara–her romances are hot and sexual, then turn into a slippery slope of too much partying that leads to nonstop fighting.”

Hmmm… We had always assumed that dating the ever-in-demand Delevingne was pretty much like this. She doesn’t exactly seem the type to stay home baking pies and giving foot rubs.

They’ve patched things up. but it’s a toxic relationship that no one thinks will last.”

Did we think it would – Cara is in young and St. V is in her 30s, so we wouldn’t be shocked if she was looking for something a bit more stable, would you?

Cara Delevingne: ‘I Do Love A Chase’

Cara Delevingne is usually associated with prominent eyebrows, goofy facial expressions and brazen nudity from many of her photo shoots.

She is also linked to a string of famous romances with a wide array of music and film stars including Fast and the Furious actor Michelle Rodriguez, and now an on-again, off-again romance with 32-year-old American singer songwriter St Vincent.

In the past, Cara normally stays pretty coy on the subject but in a new interview with website News.com.au she has revealed that when dating she fancies herself as a “bit of a predator.”

I’m someone who loves to chase; I’m a bit of a predator but not in a weird way. But I do love a chase and I also love to be chased. It depends on how your chemistry works.”

It was first reported that Cara and musician St.Vincent, were together after they were spotted together at a BRIT Awards party in February, although it is thought that they had started dating in secret long before that. More recently the pair attended the star-studded Burberry party in LA together spending the entire evening at each other’s sides.

Recently the model is refuting claims she and St Vincent (whose real name is Anne ‘Annie’ Clark) have split stating “I am very much in love” she stated on Twitter.

As well as opening up about her love life, Cara also talked about her very successful career. Despite being one of the most high-profile models in the world, she revealed that she never saw herself on the catwalk.

Cara-Delevingne-Kim-Kardashian

I never thought I’d be a model. I never wanted to be a model and I never thought people would actually want me to be a model. I was a feral kid, a big tomboy. Beauty wasn’t important at all and it still isn’t in a way.”

Though she’s been modelling professionally since the age of ten and currently holds the prestigious title as brand ambassador of Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent Beaute, and TAG Heuer, the 22-year-old star remains uncomfortable looking at these larger-than-life images.

Cara also revealed that she is a huge yoga fan, crediting the practise with helping her beat some of her demons. Admitting that she feels she had made a lot of mistakes in her life the model said:

Yoga saved my life, as did meditation. Before I found yoga I didn’t know how to be by myself or how to say no to people. I was very much a people pleaser. I never actually knew what I wanted in life until I discovered yoga and the importance of taking time for oneself. It really taught me how to connect to myself emotionally and how to love myself.”

The couple were seen jetting out of Los Angeles International Airport together, looking as happy as ever while Cara wore a coat belonging to St. Vincent, whose real name is Anne ‘Annie’ Clark.

But the British model’s latest posts on Instagram have sparked concern among her fans. On Monday, the beauty shared a very sad picture of a crying stick figure drawing holding a broken heart, along with the words ‘it’s hurting again’. This was followed by a quote from the poet Rumi, that gave more than a hint at her potential love life situation.

Her cryptic posts caused her millions of fans to respond in their droves, offering her support and wishing her well, with some event acknowledging that she had perhaps ended her relationship with the Grammy winning singer.

Yahoo then reported that Delevingne had real, heartfelt emotions for Annie Clark and that she had been truly gutted to have dumped her.

But with all social media romances true love wins through, and Delevingne posted to her twitter account confirmation of her love.
