Irish brewery heiress and fashion icon, Daphne Guinness has quite the CV. She’s an heiress to the Guinness Fortune and fashion icon, having been the late, great Alexander McQueen‘s muse. Now she is now turning to pop music.
The budding pop-star has released a debut single and space odyssey ‘Evening in Space’, which has plenty of David Bowie-referencing.
Produced by the Tony Visconti (who is best known for producing classic Bowie albums like Space Oddity), Daphne’s latest effort is an acquired taste. I her dramatic deliver and vocal style maybe not for everyone. However, the video is a must for all.
Directed By David LaChapelle, the video features costumes from Iris van Herpen, Noritaka Tatehana, and Guinness’s own personal collection.
